The Main Applications and Manufacturing Methods of Ceramic Fiber Bulk

Ceramic fiber bulk is the bulk fiber made of spun or blown fiber with a condenser or settlement device. It is widely used in different industries.

Ceramic fiber bulk is used as high temperature insulation materials in the ladle and submerged nozzle, electrical insulation materials in industrial electric furnaces, sealing materials for furnace doors and expansion joints, high temperature gaskets, thermal and electrical insulation materials in the heating device of instruments and equipment, sound and heat insulation materials in the car silencer and insulation materials in the exhaust pipes. 

 

Common ceramic fiber bulk is made of hard clay clinker by melting the raw materials in a resistance furnace, and then spinning or blowing the melt into fiber. High pure high alumina bulk is made of high pure alumina silica powder synthetic material by melting it in a resistance furnace and then spinning or blowing the melt into fiber. Zircon bulk is made of high pure alumina silica powder and zircon sand by melting the raw materials in a resistance furnace, and then spinning or blowing the melt into fiber. High alumina bulk is made of high pure alumina and silica powder by melting the raw materials in an electric furnace and then blowing the melt into flocculent fiber. Binder bulk is made by adding a certain proportion of high temperature binders in the above bulk.
