Ceramic Fiber Cloth with High Insulation Properties

Ceramic fiber cloth is a type of organic fiber cloth made of ceramic fiber. It is woven with high-quality ceramic fiber yarn. 

The softening temperature of ceramic fiber cloth is about 1700℃ and can be used at 1200℃ in a long term and 3 hours at 1450℃. It can be used as aerospace heat-resistant ablative materials, high temperature insulation materials and purification materials for high temperature gas cleaning, liquid filtration and molten metal filtration. It has smooth and clean surface, strong alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and high tensile strength. 

 

After the surface treatment of refractory cloth, the original functions are unchanged and it can be sewn into a variety of fireproof clothing, fire blankets, coverings and other high temperature equipment covers. Since it is non-flammable, the oil dirt on it can be removed by burning it, so it is called “huo huan bu” or “huo wan bu” in the history books of early ancient Chinese. 

 

Ceramic fiber cloth has good insulation properties and is usually used as refractory and insulation materials in the cars, planes and trains. It is also used in refrigeration equipment, protective clothing for welders, theater screen, fire, steel making, etc. The main application of ceramic fiber cloth is to the manufacture various heat-resistant, anti-corrosion and acid/alkali resistant materials, chemical filtration materials, membrane in the electrolytic cell and insulation materials for the boilers, air bags and components. 

 

On special occasions, it can also be used as fireproof curtain and insulation materials for the thermal installations and heat conduction systems. It is also used to insulate a variety of thermal equipment and heat conduction systems.
